FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHERE ARE THE CLASSES DELIVERED ?

Classes are currently delivered online via Zoom but as soon as it's safe to do so classes will be delivered face to face in the local community. From there on in there will be a mix of zoom and face to face classes. I also teach at various venues throughout Edinburgh.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Comfortable fitness clothes and barefeet for Pilates. A good pair of supportive trainers for HIIT.

DO I NEED A MAT AND EQUIPMENT FOR PILATES?

Yes a mat is required and a yoga block or cushion is required for some stretches. Also bring a bottle of water to keep yourself hydrated.

WHO ARE THE PILATES CLASSES SUITABLE FOR?

Classes are open to all adults who can get on and off a mat, adaptations of exercises are provided to suit mixed ability levels.  Prior to commencing Fitness By Jules a client questionnaire needs to be completed.

CAN I DO HIIT CLASSES ?

HIIT sounds like a scary word but it's suitable for many as you can take it at your own pace, you can be fast and furious or take it down a few notches to work at a pace that is comfortable for you.  If you are interested in raising your heart rate and getting your glow on then this is the class for you.

HOW DOES THE 121 FITNESS COACHING WORK ?

If you are looking for a more personalised approach to your fitness or wish to kick start your fitness journey and ease yourself in gently then 121 Fitness Coaching is for you.     These sessions are tailored to your personal needs and goals.   This is ideal if you haven't exercised for a while and need some motivation to stay committed. Results are achieved via cardio, strength and core body work.   The initial consultation is free and there is a discount if you book a block of 10 sessions.
