Fitness by Jules is run by Julie, a mum of two who lives in South Queensferry.  


She has always enjoyed keep fit, going to the gym, attending classes and after having kids took up running.  Running outdoors was the driver and inspiration for participating in Race for Life on a number of occasions and a few half Marathons over the years. More recently in lockdown she took part in a number of virtual running races clocking up the miles to meet the target for the month.   


Inspired by the many benefits of Pilates Julie qualified as a Level 3 Classical Pilates instructor.   This type of Pilates is essentially the truest most authentic form of Pilates as the creator of this exercise, Joseph Pilates, intended. Julie trained with Drummond Health & Fitness Education Academy who are leading training providers in the UK exercise and fitness industry who are validated by Active IQ (Active IQ is an awarding organisation recognised and regulated by Ofqual within the Active Leisure sector) and CIMSPA (The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity).

Julie is passionate about delivering Pilates, seeing clients progress and also seeing the positive impact of physical and emotional wellbeing that Pilates can bring.      

In addition to the above Julie is a qualified Group Exercise Coach, Outdoor Exercise Coach and is also qualified as an Aquafit Coach.   Julie is currently studying Level 4 Pilates and will be completing a Pilates Reformer Coach training in 2024.
